Waterfalls near Cabarete

Cabarete is a world-famous destination for water sports enthusiasts, and it’s no wonder why. The town is situated on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, and is home to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country.

One of the most popular waterfalls near Cabarete is the 27 meter high Damajaqua Falls, also known as the 27 Waterfalls. This waterfall is located in the nearby town of Puerto Plata, and can be reached by taking a short hike through the jungle. The hike is relatively easy and can be completed in about an hour. Once you reach the falls, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views and the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the pools below.

If you’re looking for a more challenging hike, head to the nearby town of Santiago de los Caballeros and tackle the El Choco National Park. This hike will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Dominican Republic, and you’ll be rewarded with views of several waterfalls, including the El Limon waterfall, which is the tallest in the country at 70 meters.
