All of our rental condos are privately owned and located in good quality residential areas. Clients who choose to rent one of our condos are embarking on a self-catering condo vacation and should understand that they will not be staying in a hotel style environment. Adjoining condos will in most cases be occupied by full time residents and we ask that you to respect their privacy. Please help us to maintain this peaceful environment by respecting the following conviviality rules:
– Avoid excessive noise, especially at night
– Avoid inviting people which attitude is contrary to accepted standards of behavior. Drug usage and prostitution are strictly forbidden.
– Should you have a car, please use only the parking places attributed to your building.
– No pets are allowed in the premises of the residence.
– In order to respect local customs, it is recommended not to go topless on the beach or at the pool.
At your check you will receive your security renter card. Please have the security card always with you and it must be returned on check out. Lost security cards and keys we have to charge with 20 USD. The security personnel may at any time request anybody to present his / her security card, be it at the entrance or inside the development.
Visitors of our guests need to register at the security gate and leave their ID to receive their visitor passes. This has to be done to keep our resort perfectly secured. No exceptions.
Payment & Cancellation.
Upon reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is due by wire transfer or online with your credit card (link to credit card payment page at our secure sever will be sent to you with your confirmation email).
The remaining ballance has to be paid by credit card via our secure sever online due 7 days prior to arrival, or in cash on arrival. Please note that locally we can not accept credit cards.
A refundable damage deposit of USD$500 for each apartment must be paid in cash or by traveller cheque upon arrival. Credit cards are not accepted locally.
This deposit is fully refundable upon departure provided that real and personal property are in the same condition as when occupancy commenced and all terms of the rental agreement are met.
The rental includes Electricity, Water, security service and Gas costs.
No pets are permitted on or in the property.
During short term rentals twice weekly condo cleaning is included in the rental price. Additional cleaning can be arrange for additional costs.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in time at your home is not before 3.00pm and we ask you to leave by 11.00am on the morning of departure. Please confirm earlier check in and later check out if neccesary with our local rental agency.
Waiver and Release of Liability
SeaLane Escape Inc., the owners of the rental condos and / or its rental agent, its officers, servants, or employees do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however caused as a result of the use of the condo including the pool.
SeaLane Escape Inc., the owners of the rental condos and / or its rental agent, its officers, servants, or employees cannot be held responsible for loss of mains services, or failure of appliances nor for the consequences of the actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which there is no control of SeaLane Escape Inc.. SeaLane Escape Inc., the owners of the rental condos and / or its rental agent, its officers, servants, or employees cannot be held responsible for any ongoing construction, alterations to existing homes, or any noise as a result thereof on or around the community.
SeaLane Escape Inc., the owners of the rental condos and / or its rental agent, its officers, servants, or employees accept no responsibility for, and shall not be liable in respect of loss, damage or delay which is caused by events outside the homeowner’s control. For example adverse weather conditions, airport closures, war, terrorism, earthquakes, floods or strikes.
The property has a swimming pool and SeaLane Escape Inc., the owners of the rental condos and / or its rental agent, its officers, servants, or employees do not accept any liability whatsoever for injury, howsoever caused, as a result of the use of the pool. Guests should not allow unsupervised children to use the pool. No diving, running or jumping is allowed in the pool and surrounding area.
As all rental condos are independently owned by national Dominican companies, all legal claims have to be filed in the judicial district of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Changing your booking
All of the properties are independently owned and whilst it is not our policy to change the address of a condo once a booking is confirmed this may occur through circumstances beyond our control. In this event we will offer you a like or better model home within the same geographical area.
