Cabarete International Kiteboarding Open – another long-running event, this kitesurfing competition will take place from March 15-19. As well as the competition, there will be plenty of free kitesurfing clinics and demos for those who want to try this exciting sport.


Easter in Cabarete – Easter is a big deal in the Dominican Republic, and Cabarete is no exception. The whole town gets involved in the celebrations, with parades, live music and plenty of food and drink.


Cabarete Art Week – a week-long celebration of the arts, with exhibitions, workshops, performances and more. This is a great event for anyone who loves art, or just wants to experience the vibrant culture of Cabarete.
